Running on reserve

Sometimes I can physically feel the painful exhaustion running through my veins.

This year has been one tumultuous ride after another. A break up and (failed) attempts of a love life revival aside, I lost my grandmother and spent a month going through my dad’s hospitalization. Apart from that, I started a new job in June and have not taken any holidays or sick off days. I have also not granted myself the luxury of ‘working from home’ which I let my own staff do.

Tonight, I honestly feel exhausted. But I think to myself, I should really be grateful for doing something I love. For being able to do that. Nothing in life is easy, right?

Good night, KL.
